Interior Redesign

Interior redesigners, also known as rearrangers, believe that the necessary ingredients for a well-designed space exist in your home already. We come with unique skills and training with an eye towards balance, scale, texture, and color.   We "shop" your home and use the things you already own to transform your space with a new, pleasing and functional arrangement in just one day! And because we do not try to sell you new furnishings your redesign will cost only a fraction of what you would pay a traditional interior designer.

If you want us to do a bit more, no problem. We can offer paint color suggestions - and then do the painting for you. We can suggest wallpaper - and do the wallpapering for you. We can suggest carpet - and have it installed for you. We can suggest window treatments and then provide them for you.   Get the idea? We can provide whatever additional service you would like.

Pricing
Every home is different - every space unique.   We need to see the space before providing a quote for the services you desire.   Having said that, we know that many people want some idea of cost before taking the next step.   So . . . our fees generally end up running between $70 - $80 per hour. It depends on the size of the space and furnishings, what kind of service you desire, etc.. We can usually redesign one room in 3-4 hours.    We will also consider special rates for multiple spaces or services.

We ask only $45 to come by and review your home in order to provide a quote.This amount will be deducted from the cost of our services.

Redesign to Sell

A home that has been redesigned to sell, also known as "staged", is one that is presented at it's best from the perspective of home buyers looking to picture themselves living there. It begins with curb appeal and continues into and throughout the home. It's not decorating which is personalizing your home. When redesigning a home to sell we neutralize the space so that it is appeals to the greatest number of potential buyers. These homes show better, sell faster, and command higher prices making the minimal investment well worth it.

We will tidy, clean, make repairs, arrange furnishings, neutraiize, paint, mow, trim, plant, . . . whatever may be necessary to make the home more marketable. To see examples of our work click here.

If you are inclined to DIY. we can also come by to evaluate the property and develop a list of prioritized suggestions.

HGTV's "Designed to Sell", A&E's "Sell this House", and BBC's "The House Doctor" are some of the popular television shows featuring this work.

Pricing
For $150 we will visit your home for a thorough review inside and out.
For this we will provide a prioritized list of DIY suggestions, resources, and marketing tips.

Then, if you decide to have us do all or part of the full redesign, we will work up a more detailed and prioritized plan with estimated charges per project or item including labor, purchases, etc. For this we charge an additional $100.
We will review this plan with you and you decide what you want done.
These fees will be deducted from the total cost of your Redesign To Sell project.

Decorating Consultation

Need some new ideas? Or someone with which to bounce around ideas of your own?

No problem! We're happy to come by and provide whatever suggestions, assurances, or handholding you may desire. We can also provide suggestions for resources if you'd like.

Pricing
$70/hour with a two hour minimum.

Holiday/Party Decorating

We can get you ready for whatever holiday - or party - quickly and easily. While you send the invitations, plan the food or other details, leave the decor to us. We can use decorations you already own - or puchase items for you in the theme and budget you specify.

For $45 we will come by to discuss the project with you.

Shop for your Home

Do you need some new furnishings - big or small - such as a sofa, wall art, table, lamp, bed cover, rug, curtains . . . ? Perhaps you don't have time to hunt for them or are just needing some help. We can shop with you or alone to help you find "just the right thing".

Pricing
$80/hour with a two hour minimum.

Group Presentations

In her corporate life Linda spent a lot of time making presentations and demonstrations in front of groups of people. Do you belong to a group or business that would like to have presentation on redesign? Call Linda at 770-713-9202.
